The Château’s History
Nestled in the scenic Loire Valley, Château du Coudreceau, now available for exclusive private hire, has welcomed generations of distinguished guests since its construction in 1775 during the reign of Louis XVI, France’s last king.
Established by affluent merchant Francois Seurrat du Colombier for cultivating beekeeping and silkworm, the estate’s heritage remains deeply rooted. Many of the original trees stand tall, bearing witness to a storied past of fortunes, generations, and grand celebrations.
In 2013, the Williams family revitalized the Château, introducing a world-class golf course intricately woven through the sprawling woodlands. The estate artfully blends its authentic 18th-century French architecture with luxurious modern amenities for a serene, comfortable, and elegant stay.
Enhanced by the exclusive golf course, a nearby private executive airport, and attentive 24/7 staff service, Château du Coudreceau invites you to indulge in a lavish getaway infused with the essence of French joie de vivre.
At Château du Coudreceau, we strive to make each booking unique and tailored to the guest. As a private residence, our team of 18 full-time, seasoned hospitality professionals is well-equipped to accommodate your distinct preferences. Your every desire will be our utmost priority.
