What Rochtaine is

Rochtaine is the principal. We contract with the family directly, hold every supplier behind us and carry the operational risk ourselves. We are not a concierge, a travel agent or an introducer, and Rochtaine does not offer short stays. The family deals with one company, one agreement and one point of accountability, from the first walkthrough to the last statement.

The product is certainty, discretion, convenience and control: a family arriving into a fully prepared environment, staying for a season, and never once having to manage a supplier, a schedule, a failure or a recovery.

What a residency is built from

Every programme is designed from the household’s brief. These are the ten things it is built from.

The programme. One agreement, one rate card, one team on the ground and a weekly account of everything delivered.
Residences. An owned estate house in County Kilkenny and further Irish houses, each made ready to a signed standard before the family arrives.
Household staff. Private chef, assistant chef and housekeepers engaged, rostered and managed by Rochtaine, working around the family’s own staff.
The kitchen. Menus approved a week ahead, a strict dietary protocol with cross-contamination controls, provisioning reconciled weekly.
Children. Houses governed for small children from the highest-risk feature outward, equipment in place, paediatric routes mapped, days planned.
Vehicles. A contracted, insured fleet with approved drivers, driver-on-request, and every household move sequenced ahead of the family.
Aviation. Helicopter sectors coordinated ground to air, landing permissions secured, and a road plan underneath every one.
Days and wellness. A menu of experiences proposed each week for adults and children, and practitioners who come to the house.
The small things. Sourcing, technology, climate, cash and cards, handled by one team and reported on one statement.
Discretion. Confidentiality that binds everyone we bring onto the property, and never expires.
