Marta Banasik

Marta’s passion is in her commitment to her client’s wellbeing and tireless drive to ensure excellence in everything she does and that she delivers.


Her drive to succeed and be the best for her clients permeates through her actions in Rochtaine and is augmented and empowered from her experience in wellbeing, client relations and sensory wealth. Marta and her team will assess your needs and prepare, plan and deliver a memorable experience to ensure you receive the Rochtaine experience.


Marta has an accomplished background in wellbeing and creativity, being a qualified Wellness Coach, Advanced Coaching with Neuroscience and a published artist, all of which she channels into the preparation and delivery of your Rochtaine experiences. Her genuine personal commitment and drive is rivalled only by her sincere enthusiasm and desire to provide the best standard of service and experience possible.

Brendan Gaffney

Brendan is a seasoned entrepreneur and Co-Founder of Venturewave, with over 30 years of experience launching, scaling, and exiting successful international ventures. His career spans technology, telecommunications, private equity, and luxury lifestyle industries. Brendan co-led the management buy-in of Blueface alongside Alan Foy and Lord Iveagh, head of the Guinness family, successfully exiting after its acquisition by Comcast Business. He also served as President of Global Cloud at Star2Star Communications, a major US telecommunications company acquired by Sangoma in 2021.

As Director at Rochtaine, Brendan focuses on luxury real estate, lifestyle advisory, and bespoke travel experiences. Leveraging his extensive international network and expertise in private aviation, Brendan personally oversees exclusive client travel arrangements.  

In addition to his entrepreneurial career, Brendan is an internationally recognised artist whose large-scale recycled steel sculptures have been exhibited at Burning Man and are permanently displayed in 42 museums worldwide. Prominent clients, including Google, Activision, and The National Lottery, have commissioned his artwork.

A passionate adventurer, Brendan has led expeditions across Africa, South America, Europe, and Mount Everest in Nepal. He holds a first-class Bachelor’s Degree (B.B.S.) and Master’s (M.A.) from Trinity College Dublin, specialising in impact investing, luxury lifestyle management, mergers and acquisitions, and curated travel.

Alan Foy

Alan Foy is the Chairman of Rochtaine. He is Chairman and Co-Founder of VentureWave, a diversified group comprising interests in venture capital, impact, private equity and property. He is Chairman of Venturebeam, the equity capital platform for scaling impact companies. He has held prominent roles as Chairman / CEO in the technology sector including as CEO of StarBlue, Blueface, Star2Star Communications and as a being member of the SLT in Comcast Business in North America.

He has held executive positions at NCB Group (acquired by Investec) and Coyle Hamilton (acquired by Willis), focusing on investment banking, wealth management, and business transformation.

Foy has been recognised as an EY Entrepreneur of the Year Finalist in the International Category and is a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow. His leadership extends to serving as Chairman of the Ireland Funds in Ireland, board member of Endeavor Ireland, and the management board of Mount Temple Comprehensive School, along with contributions as a member of the Provost’s Advisory Council at the University of Dublin, Trinity College.  Alan is a Patron and Donor to the Trinity Business School among other philanthropic activity and is member of YPO in Dublin. Alan holds a gold medal and B.B.S., M.A., and M.Litt in Strategic Management from the University of Dublin, Trinity College.

Brian Martin

Brian is a technology executive with over 12 years experience in successfully scaling and expanding software-as-a-service businesses around the globe.  He was a key executive level leader of Blueface, a Comcast Business Company, expanding and driving operations in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia, Brian oversaw the sales, marketing, customer success and services functions of the business. Before joining Blueface as SVP and company director, he led the operations and was a Director of eCeltic, an outsourced software development start-up that grew from 3 employees to 50 over the course of 6 years named as Ireland’s 10th fastest growing technology company according to Deloitte in 2012 with a compound annual growth rate of 550%. During his time at Trinity College Dublin, Brian was awarded Business Student of the Year and was Chairman of the Trinity Entrepreneurial Society where he founded the Dragon’s Den competition.  Brian has published research in the field of entrepreneurship and has lectured in the area in Ireland and Austria.  He is a member of the Ireland Funds Young Leaders Committee and a past member of the Trinity Business Alumni Committee.  Brian holds a Bachelor in Business Studies (B.B.S) from the University of Dublin, Trinity College.
